April 5 Do Now

"Be the change you wish to see in the world."

This quote is simple to understand. It plainly means do the things that you want done in the world instead of just leaving it for someone else to do. Many people sit and complian about the trash in the streets and everywhere else. Instead of complaing they need to get up and do something about it. They could start up a cleaning group that would go out and clean the streets. Not only would the streets get clean, but the peopel would feel better about themselves knowing that they made the world a better and cleaner place.
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

I think this quote means that we have a privledge of being able to take a stand whenever we want to. We don't have to sit around and wait for someone to tell us to make a change, we can just get up and get out there. Anne Frank was the one who said this wonderful quote. The fact that she said it impacts the quote because even though she was going through everything she was she still had faith and power in order to create a change in the world. She was a very determined young woman.

First Things First

Some of the successes that I have had during the first semester were in spanish and american studies. They were both easy classes and I had fun. They were interesting classes, but I am glad that Spanish is over. Some difficulties from semester was the fact I hate Biology, therefore I did not do as well as I should have. This semester I plan to get better grades then last time. I like the fact that computers allow you to connect with your friends and get to surf the web and get on whatever you want. I can't fix computers and I don't plan to learn anyhow. That's basically it.
